November 16th – HCC Annual Dinner & Awards
A fantastic night out was enjoyed by everyone. It was fabulous to see so many people from different eras celebrating our clubs achievements - with former players (and their partners) enjoying a reunion as well as celebrating the current teams successes.
An excellent set of speeches - 'down memory lane' with Jeremy Rice who helped the newer club members understand a little more about the club's origins - a review of the 1st XI's championship season from club captain Matt Baker (& hecklers!) and an excellent run through of the 2nd XI's inaugural promotion season from Julian Rice and Jonny Ashley. Not forgetting of course some seamless links from Chairman Simon Legge - and of course our MC Geoff Allen.

1st XI batsman - Simon Legge
1st XI bowler - Dave Livermore
1st XI all-rounder - Shaun Boyson
2nd XI batsman - Andy Sharpe
2nd XI bowler - Kit Andrews
2nd XI all-rounder - Adam Linnell
Young player - Jonny Ashley
Clubman - Kit Andrews
Two other well-deserved special awards were made in the shape of Honorary Life Membership certificates to Jeremy Rice and AJK.
A great night all round.
